I've always had this little love for taking pictures and recording memories. I remember as a kid my mama and family always told me when the camera light when on I would go nuts. I would start singing to Madonna who was my favorite singer as a child, and talk all kinds of spanish, cause thats all I knew growing up. They said, "Rachel you would be bouncing off the walls". Till this day it still makes me laugh.
But a lot has changed since then... I am no longer in front of the camera I am the one behind it. It all started for my love of the clouds and landscape. My favorite day to take pictures is and always will be after it has rained. The sky and clouds have always fascinated me, I hope one day when it is my time I will rest my head on a beautiful fluffy cloud.
My fast growing love for taking photos began around August-September of 2010. I realized that it was something I loved to do. I would notive myself taking my camera (which was my Iphone -Thank you Steve Jobs) more and more. I started downloading apps that would change the appearance of my subjects. I started posting them on FB and getting an amazing amount of compliments which guided me towards loving this hobby even more.
April of 2011 like everyone else i received my income taxes check and went straight to Best Buy... where I bought my very first love- My Nikon D3100 and I named her ERAY<3. We have had this amazing bonding experience and have already been through so much. Ive been lucky to have amazing support from family and friends. I've done a couple birthday parties, an engagement party, and a couple random shoots. But I am looking to further my hobby into a career.
But for now I will take what I can get, this is something I LOVE, and I am so Happy to share it with you.
